I graduated from Mound Westonka High School. While I was there I lettered in Track, Gymnastics, and Cheerleading.
I graduated College with Honors from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. While there, i I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Organizational Management.
I’ve been a Head Coach of Gymnastics for the last 36 years. During this time I have tirelessly studied body positions, spatial awareness, and the biomechanics of movement in an effort to keep my athletes safe. In addition, I have studied the art of spotting ,emotional intelligence, and mental health of athletes. One of my favorite quotes is “When you're green you're growing, and when you're ripe you’re rotten. Hence, the 36 years of continuing education as my priority.
I pride myself on recognizing that each athlete has a unique gift of their own, and it is my job as a coach to discover what that gift is and encourage them to build on it and use it!
I love working with athletes of all levels to discover their abilities and their dreams!
Finally, I believe that coaching is an honor and a privilege, everyday. And I realize I have a responsibility to bring my best each day!
