Bio:
The 2022 season will be Dan’s first coaching with Minnetonka track and field. He resides in Minnetonka with his wife and they have 3 grade school aged children in the district. Dan’s career is in marketing and advertising where he has 15+ years of experience and is currently employed at Best Buy as part of the marketing and media strategy team.
Dan graduated from Saint John’s University in 2005 where he competed in track and field all four years. He focused on the 400, where he was All-MIAC Honorable Mention in 2003, and provisionally qualified for the NCAA DIII meet the same year in the 4x400 relay.
At the high school level Dan competed in football, basketball and track & field for the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants. He competed in the 1998, 1999 and 2000 MSHSL Class A state meets with all state performances of 2nd and 5thin the 4x400, 9th in the 4x200 and 3rd in the 400.
