Summer Practices
Due to construction around the high school, captain-led practices this summer will be held at Minnetonka Middle School East, M-F from 7:00-9:00 am. Please meet near the tennis courts at MME starting June 10th.
You can register for summer lifting which will be most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00-9:45 starting on June 10th (lifting will be on Tuesday, June 18th instead of the 19th in recognition of Juneteenth). The fee for lifting is $150. If you have questions relating to summer lifting (including registering your incoming freshman athlete for the 9-9:45 time slot), please contact Coach Moon at taylor.moon@minnetonkaschools.org

Running Watches
A running watch is essential for competitive running! Something that has a stopwatch on it is fine, or a GPS watch with wrist-based heartrate if you want to get extra fancy. A GPS watch has the added perk of being able to upload data to Strava or other community activity-trackers. Visit a local running store if you have questions!
Running Shoes
It is important to get properly fitted for running shoes at a specialty running store. This will reduce so many cases of shin splints at the beginning of the season! The store will usually give cross country athletes a discount, so let them know that your daughter is on the Minnetonka Cross Country Team!
