We will again use the ‘Snap!’ program that allows us to use email, social media, and text messaging to quickly raise money for Minnetonka Girls Track & Field. Last year’s fundraiser was very successful. All that is asked of each participant is that they gather 20 or more quality email addresses of family, relatives & potential supporters that may be willing to donate to our cause. Your contacts are strictly private & protected; they will simply receive a personalized donation request on behalf of your student during our fundraiser. Donations are tax deductible. We really need full participation in order to reach our team goal. By completing these simple steps we will greatly reduce the need to run as many fundraisers as previous years!
Thanks for your support!
The 2017 Minnetonka Girls’ Track and Field season was extremely successful: Four Invitational Titles, Lake Conference Champions, Section 7AAA True Team Section Champions, True Team State Champions, MSHSL Section 6AA champions, 6th Place in MSHSL State Meet. This extraordinary success has culminated in Coach John Steffen being selected by his section 6AA coaching peers as the Section 6AA Girls Track Coach Of The Year. He will be recognized at the annual coaches association banquet and clinic in late January. Coach Steffen: ” I am humbled and appreciative of this recognition. A majority of the credit for this success goes to my incredibly hard working athletes, and coaches.”
For a second year the girls' track and field team will participate in a "Feed My Starving Children" packing event. The date is Saturday April 7th. We leave Tonka at 11:00 and should return around 1:45. We hope to build on last year's experience.
Please clic the link below to sign up for Feed My Starving Children. I need ages to fulfill the required adult to student ratio. 18 yr olds count as adult supervision.
